our Leadership Team:

Pastor Cooper has a passion for the heart of God, a passion for people and a passion for prayer. He is a powerfully gifted speaker who challenges others through practical teachings that impact and influence everyday living. Before coming to Community Baptist Church he served as a part time faculty member with the University of Phoenix, teaching religion courses in the college of Arts and Sciences.

He has also been teaching for over eighteen years in the public school system serving as a teacher and an assistant principal. In addition, he served on the leadership board of the youth department at Sunrise Church in Rialto California , and an Associate Clergy at Second Baptist Church in Monrovia California for tens year. He holds a BA in Anthropology and African-American Studies from Brandies University, a M.Div. in Systemic Theology and a MAT in Curriculum Development from Boston University. He has also received M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Concordia University and he holds a Doctorate in Pastoral Theology.

He was born in Duarte, California. He was born again at the age of thirteen when he came to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
